OPTION 1
The simplest way to own shutters is let us design and install them for you.
A) Price
Firstly, though we insist on giving you a very good idea of price before we survey. To get an idea of price either go to the quick quote page and enter some opening dimensions, or alternatively call 0845 166 4103 email us info@shaftesburys.co.uk or visit our showrooms.
B) Book an appointment
When you have a good idea of price then book an appointment for a survey or alternatively call 0845 166 4103. One of our surveyors will visit your home to discuss options with you and take precise measurements.
C) Order
At the end of the visit the surveyor will take your order and deposit, you will pay the remainder upon installation. Approximately 6 to 8 weeks later we will contact you to install your beautiful shutters. All of our shutters come with a 3 year guarantee.
OPTION 2
The next option is to let us visit you, to design and take your order. 6 to 8 weeks later we will deliver the shutters for you to install.
Not only will you save 5% off the cost, but also avoid the risk of bad measuring. Sash windows are relatively easy to fit, while UPVC bay windows are very difficult, so make sure you have the skills necessary before taking this route. Please note that a surveying charge of £140 applies.
OPTION 3
Lastly, you can take the full DIY approach. You measure, you collect and you install saving you 15% off the total cost of your shutters. If you are interested in this option please call us on 0845 166 4103 to discuss.
(We have many DIY customers who have been very successful in their installations, however, do not tackle this just because you have a friendly carpenter, unless you know he/she is good.)
All of our shutter fitters operate in a professional manner, they will put down a dust sheet and clear up after themselves. Furniture and obstructions must be cleared away prior to our fitter arriving, to enable them to complete your installation in the time slot allocated. If the fitter does move anything then we cannot be held responsible for any damage or breakage. At the end of the fitting we will remove all the packaging and recycle it.
